Kemira acquires US company
Sept 6 2010 Kemira has, through its North American subsidiary, acquired Water Elements, WE, a North American manufacturer of inorganic coagulants for industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment.
WE was started in 2007 and has one production plant in Baltimore, Maryland. The 2009 revenue was approximately ten million Dollars. WE will be a subsidiary of Kemira Water Solutions Inc. and will be integrated into Kemira's Municipal & Industrial business segment in the USA.The parties have agreed not to disclose the transaction price.
