Norske Skog's newsprint mill in Chile, Bio Bio, was hit by the earth quake in the country in February. The mill is located near the city of Concepción, not far from the epi-center of the quake, and the mill was damaged. However, no injuries among the approximately 240 employees were reported.The production has been halted since the earth quake, but in the beginning of May, the production is restored. The mill started up on April 30 and is now returned to normal operations. Norske Skog's force majeure announcement of 3 March 2010 is therefore revoked.
