Net sales showed an increase of roughly three percent on the corresponding period last year. Growth in sales was principally attributable to higher sales volumes. Sales of Metsä Tissue's own brands showed a year-on-year increase of eleven percent, with a gratifying upturn reported particularly for Lambi, Katrin and Serla brands.Preparations for the rebuild of PM10 at the Mänttä mill were in full swing during the first quarter. The project proceeded according to plan, with shutdown commencing on schedule in April.
