German pulp and paper production increases
German pulp and paper industry production up 1,4% in first half of 2014.
Germany's pulp and paper industry experienced an uptick in production in the first half 2014, according to the German Pulp and Paper Association.
Overall, with an output of 11.3 million tons, 1.4 percent more paper and cardboard were produced compared to the same period last year, the Association said.
Sales of pulp and paper also stayed nearly constant, up slightly by 0,8 percent.
In a global comparison, the German paper industry remains the number four producer after China, the U.S. and Japan, as well as number one in Europe
