Brazil´s pulp and paper exports rises

Brazil's pulp and paper export revenues totaled USD 6,50 billion by November 2013, an 8,2 % increase over the accumulated result in the same period in 2012. As product imports registered a drop of 5 %, the sector's trade balance was USD 4,78 billion — 13,9% higher than in the same months last year.
With respect to paper, domestic production amounted to 9,55 million tons what represents a growth of 1,7 % from January to November this year in comparison with the same period in 2012, when 9,39 million tons were produced.
Total pulp exports also increased and reached 8,53 million tons, 11,5 % higher than the same months in 2012, says Bracelpa.
