Swedish Tissue's owner completes American acquisition
With the acquisition, Sofidel, Europe's second biggest tissue producer, has access to the challenging US market. "It raises the Group's overall production capacity to over 1,000,000 tons per year and marks its entry into the US market".Sofidel became owner of Swedish Tissue in Kisa, south of Linköping, in 2010, when the Italian group acquired British LPC Group, at the time owner of Swedish Tissue.Founded in 1988, with its head office in Haines City, Florida, Cellynne Paper is a producer of tissue for the Away From Home and Consumer sector. It has over 300 employees and three production sites in the United States.
