Collective agreement for Finnish paper industry employees
March 18 2011 The Finnish Forest Industries Federation and the Finnish Paper Workers' Union, Paperiliitto, have negotiated a second-year collective agreement for employees in the paper industry.
Pay will rise by 2.5 percent during the contract period from 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2012.The collective agreement includes a 1.5 percent general increase and a one percent local increase. The collective agreement covers about 15,000 employees.An agreement was also reached on how to sustain competitiveness and productivity of Finnish forest industry.
