The Recox recovery boiler will be the largest on the American continent, with a capacity of 6,800 tons of dry solids per day and steam generation of 308 kilos per second. The evaporation plant will be the largest single line evaporation plant in the world, with six thermal stages and a capacity of 1,600 tons per hour.Metso has achieved a strong position as supplier of recovery technology in the recent greenfield pulp mills projects in Brazil.
