Chemrec named a 2010 Global Cleantech 100 company
The 2010 Global Cleantech 100 award goes to the most promising private clean technology companies from all around the world, companies likely to make the most significant market impact over the next five to ten years, in the eyes of the world's cleantech experts.The Global Cleantech 100 Award is produced as part of the Global Cleantech 100 program, run in collaboration with the Guardian News and Media."We are honored to receive this recognition", said Max Jönsson, CEO of Chemrec. "Our gasification technology is ready for demonstration on a commercial scale and within the European Bio-DME project the clean fuel from our pilot plant will be tested by ' test fleet of heavy trucks."Chemrec has its pilot plant at Smurfit Kappa Kraftliner mill in Piteå, northern Sweden.
